Be In Campaign Presentation in Blagoevgrad

The Be In Campaign presentation and information meeting in the Youth House of the Blagoevgrad happened on Feb 7, at 7 pm. We presented in front of 160 students and youth from the city and the region. The main topics were the EU programs: Youth in Action, and the work of Together. We also received a letter of support from the Bulgarian Member of European Parliament Mariya Nedelcheva. The event was reflected by local media: newspapers and radio!

On the 14th of December, 2011, in Talsi region Youth Centre a youth meeting with the local politicians took place.

The meeting was led by R.Mancendorfa from Ogre’s youth club „ Project workshop”. Even though this was the firt meeting of this kind, we highly recomend to make similar meetings all over the world- it gives you a great experience. The Cyprus Youth Council in the European Year of Volunteering organized multilateral Youth Education Program which took place 24 young people from 10 European countries. Title of the training program was "Get Involved with European Voluntary Service (EVS)". The program took place between 14 με June 20, 2011 in Paphos.

We would like to inform you for the Summer School of the Cyprus Youth Council, entitled "Young People and Volunteering in Cyprus", held in Paphos the weekend 17 to 19 June 2011. The event gathered 75 young people who addressed the issue of volunteerism, which is designated by the European Commission as the European Year for 2011.

The training course No Shell on the Shelf: a tool for promoting social inclusion took place at the Nicosia Youth Hostel of Cyprus Youth Board between 25 and 30 October 2011. Sixteen young people aged 18-31 years old from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Cyprus (4 from each country) participated.
