We are Europeans in Metz

30th of April European bus making 17 days long tour accros the continent made a stop in Metz in Scy – Chazelles. Together was here to meet with the group of young people taking part in a project We are Europeans.
Together volunteers meet young representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croata, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia and spend together very active day. There were presentations and animations in a House of Robert Schuman and as well young people had chance to visit the museum and get familiar with the life and achievements of the Father of Europe. In the afternoon our volunteers played a role of the guides and spend time together visiting the city, meeting local youth and showing a small piece of France.
We are Europeans is a project which the main strategic aim is to to familiarize citizens of the European Union with the contemporary reality of candidate and potential candidate countries in South-Eastern Europe thereby illustrating their potential as possible future member states. „We are Europeans“ establish opportunities for European citizens to engage in peer contact and intercultural dialogue.
